The firm's principal is Keith G. Harrison. Mr. Harrison retired in 2005 from Michigan government after 25 years of service. His last 13 years (1992-2005) in state government, he served as the Executive Director of the Michigan Environmental Science Board. During the same 13 years, he also served as Director of the MDEQ Office of Special Environmental Projects and the MDMB Environmental Affairs Division.
Mr. Harrison holds a BS in Fisheries/Wildlife Biology from Michigan State University and a MA in Ecology from Western Michigan University. He is licensed as a Registered Sanitarian and Registered Environmental Health Specialist, and is certified as a Senior Ecologist.
He currently serves on the Ecological Effects Subcommittee for the USEPA's Science Advisory Board’s Advisory Council on Clean Air Compliance Analysis and as a science advisor for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. He has over 90 publications addressing a variety of Michigan environmental topics. |
